Gibson, Patricia Lynn, – age 58 of Strawberry Plains passed away Monday, May 17, 2010, at UT Medical Center. She was a member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church. Patricia was a retiree of the State of Alaska where she worked as a principal and teacher in the Alaskan Bush for 22 years. She most recently served as President of the Carter Family, Community and Education Club. She is preceded in death by grandparents, George D. and Ida Gibson, Bill and Kathryn Morgan and father, Albert Taylor Gibson, Sr. Survived by mother, Jean Gibson; brother, Albert (Buddy) Gibson, Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Cliff Miller and Penny and James Hartung; nephews, Chris Adams, Trey, Ben and Brady Gibson, and Christian Miller; numerous special aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Lyons Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Matt Giles officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Thursday at Trentville Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. Pallbearers will be nephews.
